Trail conditions excellent for this time of year. Gate is open and road very passable. Trail was easy to follow to the col then drifts made it a little tougher but could follow the tracks of previous hikers. The path to Seward is questionable - another group tried but failed to make it to the summit. If you need these for your Winter 46 now is the time unless we get hammered with a big snowfall.

A very long and exhausting day but well worth the time. Trail was a little hard to follow at the top of the ridge - lost it a few times. Great views from Donaldson - a crystal clear day with no wind what more could you ask for in February. There were about 6 hikers on this trail including ourselves. We hiked in at about 7:00 am and out about 6:00 pm.

Sorry no pictures - I was to beat to dig the camera out of my pack.
