Dry River levels

Has anyone been near the Dry River in the past few days? Thinking of descending the Mt. Eisenhower Trail and was wonderingt how the crossing near the Dry River Trail is right now. I think this week was lighter as far as rain is concerned.

Hey Mike,

Karen and I crossed the Dry River back over Memorial Day weekend after we had that spell of rain. There were two crossings... the one that crossed the Dry River Cutoff Trail was not bad and we rocked hoped across...the second one that takes you to the Dry River Trail was a bit more sketchy...we went up stream a bit and waded across barefoot. I know my trip was a while ago but I think you'll be ok.

Mike,

The Dry River is one of those that rises and falls very quickly. A few dry days, and it's safe enough except during snowmelt. Sandals or Crocs and 2 poles are extra insurance.
