trails: dry river trail, mt. eisenhower trail

conditions: dry river a mix of dry leaf covered trail and slippery rocks and mud. only saw a couple small ice patches. footway on dry river trail a bit obscure in areas with all the leaves down. water crossings all low and non-problematic (more on the suspension bridge in comments). did some drainage installation and a little brushing/blowdown removal on lower eisenhower trail which is in pretty good shape. a couple of the usual muddy sections and slippery old corduroy.

equipment: nothing special

comments: the damaged suspension bridge over the dry river has been completely removed as of today. they (an independent seattle company that installs bridges) were finishing it's deconstruction as i was heading out and taking measurements for placement of the new bridge on my way back. if all goes as planned they will have it completed in about two weeks. at the moment they have some boards going across the river they had no problem with me using that made the crossing easier. don't know if these will be there when they aren't or how helpful they will be if levels really rise. anyway, good news on the bridge front.
beautiful day, good to get a little more trailwork done before winter hits.
