Date of Hike: 06/13 - 06/14
Trail Conditions:
Crawford path was muddy with a lot of running water in places on return hike otherwise nothing to mention.
Went down to about 4300' in elevation on the Dry River trail to camp and was very surprised to see up to 3 feet of snow on the trail while going down, some patches you have to go over and you will sink, some patches we were able to skirt around. Trail is otherwise what you would expect of this trail, not well blazed or marked but easily followed if one pays attention.
Special Equipment Required:
Rain gear. It rained, a lot.
Comments:
Was not expecting to be postholing in June, feet were dry until my boots were filled with snow, Yay.
No bugs to speak of though.
