Elk Lake summer parking?

Somebody know, when the gate on Elk Lake road will be open to reach the summer parking ?
I cannot find the answer on the Web.
I have find that the Elk Lake Lodge will be open on may 8.

The Clear Pond gate always opens at the same time as the Lodge in early May.

On Elk Lake Lodge website, it says that they are open from may 8 thru october 18.
That mean that the gate will be open on may 8.

You are correct! IT is a nice place to set up camp at either of the 2 lean-to's in the area.
