Parking lot to herd path easy going with several ankle deep muddy sections. Trail wet after 6 straight days of rain.
Heard path wet and muddy with some calf deep section going up Emmons and Seward.
Paths easy and fun to follow with minimum blow down.
Black flies out in afternoon above 3000'
Waterproof boots with trustworthy ( on steep wet rock) lugged soles very highly recommended as are calf high gators. Walking stick useful in steep andslippery spots.
