EMS Club day dates ?

Last year this was the weekend of the EMS Upgrade your gear 20% sale that they hold twice a year. Has anybody heard when they are holding it this year?

Good timing, it's this weekend the 28-30th, however, I got a postcard saying club members get to shop on the 27th (I think after 4pm) for a headstart. It is also available online via a code which I don't have right now. I'm sure somebody else will post it though...

It may not be personalized, just random, so they can only be used once.

EMS code

My code is CBUYGMB. It doesn't look randomized but permanently typeset. I wonder if they don't send out cards with different pictures to see which one catches the most interest. Mine has an EMS tent on a beach with two kayakers carrying up their boat. The address side shows a woman and a man running on rocks with water in the background.

Yup, looks like Teejay and I got the same card. Perhaps it's regionalized as Teejay and I are in the NY area...

Last weekend I stopped by an EMS store when visiting relatives not near my home. I wanted to make a $600 purchase and mentioned I had just received the club day card in the mail. Without even having the card or code with me I got the club day 20% discount on the spot from the store manager. Now that's a customer friendly company.

little unclear on what the club day means - is it moot now that the regular sale commenced? or do you get 40% off if a member of a club? 20+20%

And not only that...........

.........but you get 20% for each club you are a member of. So if you are a member of 6 clubs, they pay you 20% to take the gear away!

In other words.....club members got the sale a day early.

Once upon a time, the sale was 20% off for club members only. Thus the name.

More recently, it has been opened to the general public by having a 1 day club sale followed by a public sale.
