Was looking to hopefully do some snow free hiking but was unfortunately proven very wrong on that account. Parked at Peck Rd trailhead and hiked over Windham, Burnt Knob and to Acra Point and back. There is still alot of snow out there (1-2.5') and I wished on many occasions that I had brought snowshoes. The snow level starts at about 2500' and is patchy with large swaths of snow in some areas and not on others. Very little of the trail at this point is dry so be prepared to slog through mud, rivers (seemed like every section of the trail was a stream) and deep snow (knee deep in many areas). There's nothing like hiking in deep snow with a tank top and shorts on!
