With such a nice weather forecast for the weekend we are planning a traverse of Franconia Ridge on Sunday, starting at the Skookumchuck trail and finishing at Lincoln Woods.
This is a 15.6 mile hike with @ 4800 feet of elevation gain. We estimate book time for the hike of @ 10 hours. We typically hike faster than book time ourselves.
We will coordinate rides from Lincoln Woods back to cars left at the start and will plan for several re-group points so people can choose to hike at their own speed but not be left completely on their own. Plan your hike - hike your plan.
