date of hike;10-06-09.
trail conditions;Edmands path ; very wet but still nice and smooth.
Crawford path ; miserable due to fog and wind which at 12:30 p.m. was
limiting visibility and trying to cause frostbite.
Eisenhower loop ; nasty because of wind, rocks very wet.
spec. equipment;windbreaker, extra sock to cover exposed skin on face[see pic],wind pants, wool sweater,Winter gloves and a tad bit of craziness to go up above 5000 feet in these condtions.
comments;was aiming for monroe and then eisen[ on way back] but turned around due to conditions.made it a hour up craw.path almost to monroe loop.tagged eisenhower on way back.amazed at a lack of most peoples preparations[myself included].not a day for views but very wild never the less!
