Fred Finishes the 115 on Carrigain!!!

Congrats to Fred Bloom, who finished the 115 on Carrigain Saturday 10/22.

Fred was joined by 7 friends, and many others who met us along the way, including Dr. Wu, Snowshooz, etc.

It was a clear day to start, with temps around freezing and no wind. As the day went on, we picked up some wind and clouds. We were cold on the summit, but we had a great time. There was just a dusting of snow at the top.

Well, Fred can not post here, but he lurks!

He's working on the 46's in Winter, and he'll probably be doing some firetowers in the ADKs sometime soon.

And did I mention Fred started the list at age 60 and finished at 69? Even more amazing! I hope I'm still hiking when I'm his current age!

It was great to meet you on top of Carragain at your big finish..you are an inspiration 115 WOW! .. and our group was happily slurping champagne on my 48th that day...to think there are so many more left to do now!
