Gale River Trail to Garfield Ridge Trail to Twinway to N. Twin Spur to N. Twin Trail
Gale River trail was a breeze, 4 quick miles with the exception of one water crossing. It required some careful rock hopping just a bit upstream of the trail. Garfield Ridge was uneventful to Galehead hut, very wet but steady. The Twinway up to S. Twin was fun, unforgiving not too wet. There were very limited views today due to very low cloud cover but it did open just a bit. Out over N. Twin was pretty wet and the way down was long, just seemed to keep going and going. We avoided the last 2 brook crossings on the N. Twin Trail by taking the bushwack down the east bank of the river which worked out well. Nice day to be out with Prima Cornice, OutlawJoseyWale, RangerRick, The Duke, Benji and Josey.
