tr. cond; all trails except parts of Gale river rd. had nice fresh snow 2-4 inches,snowed and flurried all day.no spring thaw here with full on winter conditions,wind was fine.lots of snow up high.one nasty blowdown,go right to get around.
spec. equipment; snowshoes all day.saw 7 people all with s.shoes.one dude had xc skis which he took off before steeps.
comments..nice chat with "wowzer' and "pat" from vfft. all hikers were loving the conditions.
