Figured this would be a good day to have some quiet on Galehead.
1st water crossing high but easy if you walk right through it.
2nd one a little easier.
All the subsidiary brooks are flowing good.
No ice or snow, but trail is really wet and muddy.
The wind was really howling, and the rain horizontal. Open area between Hut and Summit was wild with the weather. Summit was sopped in.
Comments: This is good climb on a really wet day. Gale River trail is so beautiful when its really wet. Temps were quite warm and when in the trees it was wet but quite pleasant. Would imagine by tonight this post will be useless as all that water turns to ice.
