i have a friend who teaches in nh who is trying to start an outing club at his high school. many of the students come from lower class families and simply finding the money for a simple hiking trip is an issue much less the necessary gear. if anyone has any unused gear collecting dust or taking up space in their closets and would like to donate it to a good cause let me know. in particular they need the basics like packs and sleeping bags as well as anything that could benefit them on winter trips. whatever you would like to clear out to help kids enjoy the outdoors would be greatly appreciated. you can contact me directly at [email protected] if there is anything you would like to donate. I don't mind reimbursing shipping costs myself if that is an issue.
