Date of Hike: saturday feb 12 2011
trail used: roaring brook, ridge, rocky peak
Trail Conditions: Packed Snow with fresh Powder. Water Crossings: easy with snowshoes but saw postholes from some bear booted hickers. Downed Trees: a few significant ones on each trail but overall very good trail maintnance
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes and poles is all we needed
Comments: very nice snow conditon, did some butt slide on numerus occasions. limited view on top. overall very nice day of hike.
