Giant from 9N via Owls Head Lookout

Hike Date: 5/30/2009. Total hike was approximately 15 miles. Took 10 hours. Moderate mud between owl's head and Giant. Overall the trail was in great condition. The lean-to at the base of Giant was in good condition and very orderly. This hike has a gradual ascent from owls head to Giant. The 1.3 miles up Giant was steep but very managable. Saw nobody on the trail. A very nice day.
