A lot of new snow on all the mountains in the last 2 weeks. Trail packed (at least before the new snow from today). Mostly snow covered apart from the odd rock or icy bit, which may of course be snow covered by tonight.
Equipment: we used stabilizers and micro-spikes for the ascent, putting on crampons at the steep part right below the summit. Most people had snowshoes on. Crampons were perfect for the descent, as there were a couple places that looked possibly awkward for snowshoes. We passed 1 party of 3 scooting down a steep bit on their rear ends. However, by tomorrow I'm sure those few awkward bits (probably less than 10 in total) may be covered by snow.
