Parked one car at the trailhead on Rt.9 for the east approach to Blueberry Cobbles/Rocky Peak Ridge and drove around to Rt. 73 to park at the Zander Scott trailhead. It rained off and on for an hour or two, but the trail stayed in good shape. After heading towards Rocky Peak Ridge we had the trail to ourselves.
In the afternoon after the rain stopped the black flies came out a bit, but not too bad. No problem at all if you were moving. We were in the clouds on both of the peaks, so no views.
11 miles - 8 1/2 hours.
