I purchased a pair of Fleece gloves that also have a layer of Thinsulate and a "waterproof - breathable" liner. They are super warm, but hard to dry out once wet. The problem is the outer layers dry out overnight but the inner layers do not! I guess the w/b liner is trapping the moisture inside the glove and not allowing it to escape!

Is this typical of all gloves or mittens that have a waterproof - "breathable" liner?

yep!

I prop my mittens open with a piece of pencil and put them in front of a fan. My boots get dried in front of the fan as well. Turning the mittens inside out also helps.
