Thanks Tom. That is a nice feature of GoogleEarth I'll have to explore more. For general sky maps, satellite passes, Iridium flares and other such timely events that I don't get from Sky & Telescope, I regularly visit heavens-above.com

I'll check this out when my new computer arrives next week. I won't bother with my now ancient machine and dial-up (we're getting cable at the same time). Skyandtelescope.com also has a great sky atlas.
