One of my botanical inventories has been canceled (
landowner not responding to requests for permission ) and I may have Sunday 7/30 free in the Gorham area.
I'd like to plan a hike to Isolation & Glen Boulder (up Rocky Branch Tr, down Glen Boulder, this looks like 13.3mi, 4500ft elevation gain, only a few botany delays expected above treeline), but only if conditions are good.
I've got some other hikes in the area that I could do, (e.g. Shelburne Moriah or Goose Eye's N / E peaks from the Wright Trail, or a Nelson Crag -> Alpine Garden -> Tuckerman Ravine loop) but all are more botanically oriented so if you don't like stopping and looking at plants never mind.
