Great Gulf 9/23-25

Doing a trip in the GG this weekend and anyone is welcome to come along.

This is weather permitting - any tropical events decide to drench NH with rain this weekend - probably bail.

Friday night - hike into somewhere near bluff

set up camp at site in GG and hike either six husbands, great gulf, or sphinx trails up - tentative plan is to hit jefferson, clay and washington - but this can be modified as needed. Group will determine pace.

Another 1.7 miles in beyond the Bluff with little elevation change are at least two good tent sites just beyond the Jct. with the Wamsutta Trail. They are legal, designated sites close to the trail, one on the left another on the right, both are close to water. This would shorten your ambitious Saturday hike.

thanks - weather is looking great so far so the plan looks to be hike in friday night to either bluff or wamsutta junction to camp. 6 husbands (this has been on my list for while now) to jeff - traverse to wash and head down great gulf back to site - and hike out sunday -
