Conditions: Excellent weather, no serious bugs, rocks a bit slippery in the lower sections.

Comments: This was a hike of 9 miles and 4400 vertical. My route: Airline/Short Line/King Ravine/Great Gully, down via Airline. Great Gully diverges from King Ravine at 3800 feet, a little below the steep part of the headwall. It is just as steep as KR, but the steepest section is a bit lower on the headwall. A lot of scrambling is necessary on this hike, some on the KR trail and a lot on the GG trail, so you need to be comfortable getting yourself up the boulders. Photos can be seen at:
