Monday morning I have to take my usual hiking partners (canines Tuck and Carter)to the vet for a bunch of shots.I think they will be laid up after that so I will drop them off at home and head to the mountains.Probably leave Pinkham at 1:00. Go through Great Gulf. I usually avoid Madison Gulf trail on account of the dogs, but it's a trail I'd really like to do.Does anyone have any updated information on conditions?Either Madison Gulf or Osgood to Madison hut and then on to Grey Knob for a few cocktails. Next day pick up Gulfside trail and on to Washington. Descent via Nelson Crag(love it in the spring) or maybe Boot Spur. Anyone with updated info or wants to go , let me know, thanks.
