Perhaps 3 dozen people on the mountain today, upper half of trail has wet rocks and leaves but above freezing temps no issue. If below freezing, boot traction would be suggested. Tower stairs accessible but tower door locked. Limited view today except for hills west of Great Sacandaga Lake. Hikers took time to check out the vandalized cabin. One of the nicer summits in the southern Adirondacks.
