We parked at 7 Dwarfs and walked the snowmobile trail/Haystack Road in and the more traditional "bushwhack" on the way out, both in good shape. North Twin Trail and FWT had snow cover, increasing with elevation to a foot or so, all well-packed by previous groups/posters, thanks! No major blowdowns or crossing issues.
Snowshoes weren't required on the packed surface. We carried Microspike ST's for traction but didn't need them.
Nice day on a beautiful route. We ran into Arm et al, nice to see you again! And great to hike with John L whom we've all missed.
