We're planning to hike the Hancocks (N&S) 2/3/2007


Trails: Hancock Notch, Cedar Brook Trail, Hancock Loop Trail

Distance – Elevation: 9.8 miles, 2,650 feet

The targets for this weekend are The Hancocks. We will hike from the trailhead parking at the Kancamagus hairpin. The plan is to meet there at approximately 8:30am and be on trail by 8:45am – 9:00am. We’ll follow the normal loop including the Hancock Notch Trail, Cedar Brook Trail, and the Hancock Loop Trail counterclockwise. The hike will be a moderate pace.

The Hancocks are on my Winter List and I was hoping to get out on the summits this weekend, preferably not alone. I would love to join you!
