Geneva and I were off to an 'Arm start' on Friday.
I thought about doing the Osceola's from the Kanc, but the parking lot was full, well, not really, but the parking was done very poorly.
So, not wanting to block anyone in, or get my car smashed up, we opted for the simple loop around Hedgehog instead.
The trails were in great shape, as usual. There were a few muddy spots, but nothing to be concerned with. The views from the ledges were all around fantastic.
If you are traveling with small children or a dog, there is a rather large and apparently inviting mud hole just off the summit. Large enough for a small dog to swim in. Even if she happens to be wearing a pack.
There are also still blueberries to be had.
A very nice afternoon hike for Geneva and myself.
