Hi Everyone,

I took the day off from work this past Friday and hiked up Mt. Pemigewasset. It was a great time and I was the only person on the mountain. Beautiful views and wildflowers...couldn't ask for a better way to spend a Friday! My trip report with photos is here:

Excellent. That is such a nice mtn with great views for the effort. We brought a bunch of non hiking camper kids up it one day, so I need to head back up there so I can enjoy it a little more. :)

Awesome pics!

Thanks Grouseking! I appreciate the feedback! The hike was definitely great. I was surprised at what easy grades the mountain had...will definitely be going back soon.

Definitely one of my favorites when looking for an easy hike close to home. Additionally, at this time of the year, it is one of the earliest snow-free hikes (Indian Head Trail clears of snow sooner than Mt. Pemi Trail).

It's a bit more challenging (extra 300 vertical feet with essentially the same distance) if done from Rt. 3 (Indian Head Trail).

Better yet, do a double traverse, 7 miles round trip with about 2,700 feet and NO SNOW
