Hiking the Jackrabbit Trail...

Has anyone ever hiked the Jackrabbit Trail before, from end to end? I'm talking about a through hike (not on skis or snowshoes), starting at Paul Smiths and finishing at Rock and River in Keene. Has it been done?

I don't think its really intended, or set up to be, used as a hiking trail. Parts of it run thru golf courses, private clubs, etc. where permission is granted only for winter use. Certain sections, esp. the "Old Military Road" into Rock 'n River are quite nice for a day hike on foot (when there is insufficient snow for skiing!)

Thanks... but regardless of whether or not it's intended to be used as a hiking a trail, has anyone ever hiked the whole distance?
