Hi all,

I briefly tried to search for this topic, and also (briefly) went onto the New Hampshire Parks site, but couldn't find an answer to this question. Am quite certain someone here can help me out!

I would like to reserve a tentsite for next Friday night, either on the road leading to North Twin, or even better, on the Zealand Rd (not at the bottom, at one of the campsites farther up the road).

I'm sure there's a quick and easy link, but I don't know what it is. Or do you just show up and grab an empty site?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

The logging road to North Twin is in the National Forest and outside the NH State Park System. I'm quite sure the campsites along that road are first come first served using a WMNF pay station when you first drive onto the road.

There are similar campsites on the logging to the Galehead River Trail. I've been on both logging roads twice this past month on the weekends and saw some campsites available ~ however they might be hard to get during peak foliage season ~ that I can't answer that for you.

Brian, there are some sites that are first-come, first-serve, however, I fear this coming weekend will be a busy one in the Whites and who knows what would be available.

Same deal on Mt. Deception Road.

Thank you all for this helpful advice!

There is a rain icon for North Woodstock every single day from today through a *week from Wednesday* which is as far as the forecast goes, so unless everything was already booked (which is quite possible!), I'm sanguine I'll be able to find us a spot.

I love VFTT. I can always find the advice I need here.

All but one of the Haystack Road (to North Twin trailhead) sites were empty today.
