Trailhead: Spruceton Road
Destination: Hunter Loop.
A group of 7 of us did the Hunter mtn loop clockwise from Spruceton road. Barebooted til the col between East Rusk and Hunter then crampons for some (or the prepared ones) to the firetower and most of the descent towards Diamond Notch falls. Group was convinced to take the 15 minutes to tag Leavitt aka SW Hunter since it was right there so we followed feint tracks along the usual path straight to the canister. Then backtrack to the trail and down to the falls which was flowing nicely then a short stint out to Spruceton Road.
Snowshoes were carried by some but never used. Some kind of traction aid was key to certain tricky spots and very helpful in most.
