I had such a beautiful day of hiking in Huntington Ravine! This morning, it was clear that late summer was upon us as the temps were just slightly chilly and the smell was different. Sunrise is noticably later. This two year old cow was crossing Bear Notch Road...

Huntington Ravine Trail was quiet and beautiful. This is a little feeder stream, covered in brilliant moss...

The bunchberry is now full of berries...

I arrived at the floor of the ravine in time to watch Moon set over the rim...

I need ID help with the following three. This one thrives tight to the pretty stream flowing down the ravine...

Arghman identified these when I saw them on Mt. Chocorua, but I can't remember the name...

I was hoping to see more harebells in the Alpine Garden on a less windy day than last Saturday. There are plenty of them in Huntington Ravine...

It's amazing how many pretty sights are seen in Huntington Ravine in August. After six hours enjoying the hike I was just at The Fan, so I decided against the Alpine Garden. The ravine has so much beautiful flora...

I don't wanna come down...This buck was hanging out near the Gulf Of Slides trailhead when I went to soak my feet and enjoy a Blackbeary Wheat Ale...
