Up the blue trail to Jimmy Dolan Notch...Over red trail, down to Devil's Path...Predinger Rd.
Very little snow/ice down below...Once you start to climb, there are icy patches, I made it fine with bareboots. I switched to stableicers at JD Notch...Couldn't have made it up without them, very icy to the summit. Coming down the red trail would have been very very hard without stableicers. Trail was a bit hard to follow on the way down due to some blowdown. Overall a great day in the woods. Wonderful views coming down of Plattekill, Overlook, Kaaterskil, and into the Burrough Range.
One or two more weeks and the Cats will be clear of snow...
