Bubble rock is still in place.

My sister was working at JAXLab, barely half a mile from the epicenter. Her narrative:

<< we heard loud bangs and felt small vibrations all day long, sometimes 3 or 4 a couple minutes apart, then an hour quiet, then another, almost like blasting but enough different that you knew it was earth burps. Too funny, we had a course going on at highseas and all those PhDs kept saying that it could not be an earthquake, the californians said this is NOT what an earthquake is like. We smiled and said, you probably never felt an earthquake through granite and ledge before. they were supposed to go hiking/biking in the park in the afternoon and we called the NPS to see if there were any advisories, they said no, but they were asking all park visitors to report anything unusual, like rock slides. Oh, ok, can i dial the park service number on my cell phone pinned under a ton of granite? LMAO We asked if Bubble Rock was still there, they said yes it is still there and people were flocking to see if it had rolled down the mountain.

Quite the day, you never know what's gonna happen when you get up in the morning!!!!>

I was standing at Thunder Hole, watching it do its thing when I felt the earth under my feet jiggle a little. I thought, "Wow, this Thunder Hole business is cool." About two hours later I heard about the earthquake, and then the incident at Thunder Hole made more sense.

There was another shake and bake in the Acadia Region yesterday, a 2.5 R, the epicenter underwater between Hancock Point and Bar Harbor.

Unfortunately caused the mortar fireback in my Camp Fireplace to separate from the firebrick behind. ( likely story, LOLOL, but not one my insurance adjustor will hear).

No evidence yet that Bubble Rock paid any notice.
