Is it snowing up north?

How's the snow up there? It sounds like the trails are all ice and rock which isn't fun to hike on. Maybe if this snow is decent it will cover some of that up and make things nicer.

Plymouth: It just started this morning. I don't know how much we'll get; it seems to be a fine snow, not real fluffy. Lots of ice on the trails. Off the mountains we're down to bare ground entirely. It will take a lot of snow to make for good snowshoeing.

In Thornton, NH (just south of Lincoln/Woodstock) we got about 3 or 4 inches.

There was a good 4 inches or so of light powder as of 2:30 at Someday Bigger. oh sorry, Sunday River. Nice skiing minus the ice beneath it.
About 4 inches or so in the midcoast of heavy snow-now its raining
