Start about 8:30
Left the Rocky branch trailhead behind a small army of backpackers. Eventually got past them and easily barebooted up to Engine Hill. Kept to the trail until about a half mile past the height of land before I threw on snowshoes and broke into the woods at 290*. Hit the Isolation trail at the first crossing above the shelter, and followed it until the it leaves the old RR bed at the arrow sign. Crossing Rocky Branch was not an issue, new bridges have formed. Two guys had been out ahead of me, who I met part way up on the second bushwack. Once I was off their track I turned north west, (again at about 290*) in hopes of coming out slightly north of the summit. covered some steep and deep powder and met some unfriendly spruce trees. I ended up in the little col between Isolation and the little bump south of the main peak. Had to battle some nasty spruce traps but I managed to move north and tag the peak. I circled back on Davis Path until I crossed my old tracks. IF YOU FOLLOW THIS ROUTE MAKE SURE YOU TURN RIGHT WHEN THE TRACK SPLITS AT ABOUT 3900' (unless you love spruce traps). Flew out on the trail, for some reason a bunch of people had randomly tracked all over the area of the first bushwhack (east side of RB) which made fore some confusion but no serious issues on the way out. All and all a decent route, should be easy to follow for some time.
Finish about 2:00
