The Rocky Branch trail dry until you get to the height of land, then the usual wet areas. Caution!!! about 1.2 miles in hornets attacked coming out of the base of a rotting tree..only one member (Rodney) of our 3 got nailed 3 times on the legs..Isolation trail fine too with some minor mud and wetness..water crossings fine-way in we did bushwack the 2 close crossings, on way out stayed on trail...Davis path dryest i have ever seen from Isolation Jct. to spur..views real good except from Monroe to Washington..nice finish for Rodney for his 48 being well over age 48...Pokey started her second round of 48 after finishing 48 on Osceola's 9/5/09..well over age 48 too...great week got to see Priscilla finish NE 67 on the Bigelows and this one..saw belted kingfisher dive bombing pools of RB, and woodcock flushing at feet, heard coyotes yelping..no agressive spruce grouse to content with...regards from the north country, keith
