Jeeeezzz, damm, sorry to hear that, I've never stayed there but I know of it.
We had a shopping mall near me that went completely ablaze about 10 years ago because of the same old style roofing which is a huge firetrap and very dangerous. I don't think any commercial building can be built of the same style since then. It was a very old building though that housed a Ben Franklin (5 and dime kind of store) as well as an Acme Supermarket and other small stores. The BF caught fire one night and then it spread like butter on hotcakes once it hit the hollow roof...
