I put together a rough map of the Jackrabbit Trail using ArcGIS. It's a pretty basic map, shows roads, lakes, larger streams/rivers, trails, and the JRT itself in Red. Contour lines are at 100 ft intervals with 500 ft index lines. Grey areas are private land, just like on the ADK maps.

No labels yet, but it's a better quality map than the free one that the Adirondack Ski Touring Council hands out.

Resolution is 75 dpi, and the image is designed to be printed on a piece of paper 40 by 17 inches. Perhaps eventually I'll make a nicer version, at about 300 dpi or so.

Below is an attached smaller version of what the map looks like.

Check it out here: http://www.mediafire.com/?8aamjztbzkz

I also have a really nice 300 dpi 55 by 18 inch map of the Northville-Placid Trail if anyone is interested. It's 77 megabytes though, so you'd need a gmail account that I could send it to you at. I've attached a smaller version of this map below as well.
