Trip up the Webster-Jackson Trail and Jackson Branch on Friday afternoon was pleasant, if windy. Trail in excellent shape. Puncheon in good shape to Mizpah Springs Hut.
Saturday morning trip over Pierce and Eisenhower and down Edmands Path also good. Puncheon between Pierce and Ike could use some renewal, but work for the most part the rocks embedded in trail are fine, despite recent wet weather.
We were alone on Eisenhower this morning, but met dozens of day-hikers and 8 dogs climbing Edmands Path as we descended.
Needed at elevation - long sleeves or windbreaker. Washington still enveloped in clouds at 9:15 when we were on top, but VFTT were great to the west, south, and east.
