Today, Sylvie, Bubba and his wife Mary Jo, myself and some friends got sunburnt . Spending all day out on the open rock of the Jay ridge under bluebird skies was to blame. From the 1 1/2 mile long open ridge you have a sweeping view from RPR, all the way around the compass dial via the Great Range to Whiteface, Lyon, Quebec and beyond over to Mansfield in Vermont. This is one mountain I will do over and over again. It is like nothing I know in the ADK's.
A picture is worth a thousand words.
