Date of Hike:9/13
Trail Conditions: Excellent. Jefferson Notch road is in great shape from either end, the state has been doing some work on it, still not a superhighway, but in good shape for leaf peepers
Special Equipment Required: None, although folks are starting to push the season for all cotton clothing
Comments: Optional - Weather started out clear but clouded in as the morning progressed. Stiff breeze and drizzle from the clouds later on made for some raw hiking. Saw several groups of tourists heading over to washington with marginal gear. Didnt hear of any rescues this AM so I guess they made it or turned around.
