Here are some pics from our trip to San Diego. I want to thank everyone for their great suggestions. We're going back next year(my brother moved out there) so we'll check out some other places next time. I'm sorry there are no titles on the photos. I didn't title them when I uploaded them, and can't figure out how to do it now that they're up. If anyone can help with that, I'd be grateful.

Coincidentally, I was at Torrey Pines that same week. My ex and my two sons live about 2 miles from TP (they both go/went to Torrey Pines High School), so I've been there often. The topography is amazing. Joshua Tree speaks for itself.

If you go back to that area, you might want to think about climbing Mount Woodson or Iron Mountain, both of which you can see in your photos when you're facing east, or Cuyamaca Peak (about 7,000 feet) which is only an hour or so east of San Diego.
