sewards july 4th hike

A three day Sewards option might go something like this....

Day 1---Drive up, Hike in to camp 5miles, set up camp quick, climb Seymour and return to camp 3miles (day total 8miles)

Day 2---The hardest day, hike Seward, Donaldson, Emmons (sort of a stinker that you sort of have to do Seward twice as you backtrack), back to camp (day total 8miles {possibly misserable})

Day 3--- A wake up, a 5mile walk out, a drive home.

If your interested just PM me.. :D ...

Hike into Ward Brook Lean-to and set up camp. Climb Seymour and then come back. The next day hike into Blueberry leanto setup camp and then hike the rest of the Sewards via Caulkins Brook. This way you won't have to reclimb Seward. Plus the herdpath is a bear from the Ward Brook Slide. I did that climb a few years ago.

INFO

Hope this helps.
