Katahdin Iron Works gate?

Does anyone know what time the gate at Katahdin Ironworks opens or have a phone number to call for info?---a PM is fine

as of last labor day, it opened at 6am - about 3 hours too late if you are trying to do the Knife's Edge in Baxter

and here's the number of the North Maine Woods organization. I'm 95% sure they administer the gate on the Katahdin Iron Works/Ki-Jo-Mary road near Millinocket, which I'm assuming you are referencing:

RT--thanks--yes, i was referring to the gate north of Brownsville near the old furnace itself. The people at the # you gave me were able to put me in touch with the Jo-Mary gate and that woman thought all 3 of their gates in that area opened at 6 AM--many thanks---jim
