Continues to be one of my favorite moderate hikes in New England!
Conditions: very small amount of mud at the beginning of the trail. Lots of leaves on bottom 1/3 of the trail, but they were dry and not a problem. The trail is 99.99999999998% ice free. It was 30 degrees on top but 70+ degrees inside the fire tower....
