Trails: Winslow trail up, barlow trail down
Special equipment: Stablicers on decent
I took the winslow trail up. I didn't hit any ice till the half way rocks. was able to bushwack around it all with no problem. Just below the summit I layered up for the windy peak. Had the peak all to myself. The wind blowing through the towers sounded like a jet engine.
I took the barlow trail down. Barebooted down till I got in the tree line and put on my stablicers. There was tracks of someone else barebooting down, I put mine on for peace of mine. There is a lot more ice and snow on the barlow trail than the winslow. The wind was worse on the barlow trail also.
