I just bought this pack. On my big backpack, there is a specific place designed to have the hydration bladder tube going out. I couldn't find one on the Redwing. Is there any? Are you just having the tube going out by the main compartment zipper?

I have the same pack, and it has served me quite well.

The hydration thing is just not where you'd expect it, it's in the middle between the 2 shoulder straps. Once you unbutton it, you'll see the yellow fringing beneath.

Yes, my 3100 even has this little faucet with a water drop coming out embroidered on it. Slips through no problem.
